Terms of Use

Effective 6 October 2026
Homeck changes real devices in your home. Use it with care, keep your own record of setup codes, and never rely on it for safety.

Agreement

These terms apply when you use the Homeck app or this website. They add to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which covers apps from the App Store. If you do not agree, please do not use Homeck.

What Homeck is

Homeck is an app for controlling HomeKit accessories, published by Homeck. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Apple. Apple, iPhone and HomeKit are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Your home, your changes

Homeck writes to real accessories, such as lights, locks, heating and power outlets. It also creates, edits and removes scenes and automations. You are responsible for the changes you make, including restoring a backup. After a restore, check that your home behaves as you expect.

Not for safety

Do not rely on Homeck alerts or automations for safety, security, medical or emergency purposes. An alert depends on your home hub, your internet connection, our relay and Apple's push service, and any of these can fail or be late.

Setup codes

Saved setup codes stay on the iPhone where you saved them. If that iPhone is lost, reset or replaced, the codes are gone. Keep your own copy of any code you cannot afford to lose.

Fair use of the relay

The relay exists only to deliver your own alerts. Do not use it to send messages to devices that are not yours, flood it with requests, or try to break or bypass it.

Changes to the service

We may change, pause or stop the app or the relay at any time. If we stop the relay, alerts will stop arriving.

No warranty

Homeck is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows.

Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, Homeck is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss or damage caused by accessories, automations or alerts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Questions go to support@homeck.app.
